Neighborhood Spotlight: Enjoy Summer Fun in Johns Creek

  |     |   Lifestyle

Recreation for all! These powerful words are coming to life this summer in Johns Creek, thanks in part to the Johns Creek Recreation & Parks Department.

Their goal is clear: enriching the quality of life for the Johns Creek community by providing recreational, educational and wellness programs within facilities, parks, and natural open spaces. That is accomplished through a commitment to enhancing the well-being of its residents and visitors through comprehensive recreation and park programs, facilities, and services.

The Recreation & Parks Division maintains over 400 acres of parkland and nature preserves. In addition to the city’s four main parks, the city now has two new pocket parks, one new neighborhood park, and two new large parks. Programming within the parks includes activities and sports for youth and people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, hence their belief in “recreation for all.”

Johns Creek has so much to offer its residents to begin with, including premier shopping, one-of-a-kind restaurants and beautiful luxury apartment communities like The Regency at Johns Creek Walk. And the time is now to get outside and explore the city and all it offers.

Here are some features offered by Johns Creek Recreation & Parks you can’t miss this summer:
